The Merlin UV is a 9 watt UV-A (365Nm) energy saving lamp. The Merlin UV is used to recognize certain authenticity features in banknotes, driving licenses, passports or credit cards. Due to the 9 Watt lamp, this lamp is still useful in many daylight situations, as opposed to almost all others.
